About the Choctaw People
The Choctaw Nation is one of the Five Civilized Tribes. They were the first to walk the Trail of Tears. During the Irish Potato Famine, despite their own hardships, the Choctaw people sent aid to Ireland—a gesture of compassion remembered to this day.
